IMPORTANT message from Cricket NSW I am writing with an exclusive opportunity in the lead up to the ICC Cricket World Cup. On Tuesday the 20th of January, the media will descend on Blacktown International Sportspark (Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill) to promote the upcoming Cricket World Cup, and more specifically the three International practice matches being held here at Blacktown International Sportspark in the heart of Greater Western Sydney. As part of the event we will be hosting a FREE CRICKET CLINIC for boys and girls (all ages welcome) The girls and boys will participate in a FREE one hour skills session delivered by Cricket New South Wales including the HUGE Cricket World Cup inflatable nets, giveaways for all participants, an opportunity to meet the Sydney Thunder’s Mascot ‘Thor’, as well as a high profile Cricket New South Wales player. The skills session will commence at 10.30am with the media opportunity for photos and interviews being held at 11am. Venue: Blacktown International Sportspark (Eastern Rd, Rooty Hill) – Oval 1, enter through the Cricket NSW/AFL entrance. Apologies for the short notice, the event was only finalised yesterday. If you could please circulate this terrific opportunity to your network ASAP that would be greatly appreciated. If any parents are planning to attend could they please reply to Craig McLean (Development Leader – Thunder Region: [email protected]) with their child/children’s name and contact phone number by midday Monday, that would be fantastic so we can make sure we have enough show bags to giveaway. Kind regards, Craig McLean Development Leader – Thunder Region
