IN A SCIENCE DOCUMENTARY; MY OPINION: A famous actor, Morgan Freeman, said in a science documentary: “It’s selfish to think that we are the only ones here” meaning that if you do NOT believe there is life on other planets, you are “selfish”; REALLY? Is that the criteria to determine if someone is selfish or not? I happen to believe that there may or may not be other life on other planets? What does that make me? It is my husband who does not believe there is life on other planets because the Bible does not seem to mention it & believe me, he’s the least selfish person I have EVER met and I ought to know; I have lived with him for over 13 years! I have enjoyed some of Mr. Freemans movies but they have gotten more and more violently graphic. Wouldnt that be selfish to put out violent movies that tend to prompt more crime in our world? Why would he make such a blanket statement about selfishness being connected to your disbelief in aliens? I am sure that he simply says whatever lines are put in front of him to say; after all, I am an actor.
