Well today has been a MOST trying day. In the midst of the problems, I am reminded of the old song Count your blessings. I hummed the tune to remember the good things despite the conflicts. We are temporally taking a service day at the cleaners to work on the equipment tomorrow. Perhaps it will be a good day to bring the 3 kittens to the cleaners so customers can fall in love and adopt a baby. They come with a vet report card and are up to date on vaccinations. All testing has been done to the mother and she is free and clear so the babies are cleared also. This is great news. Many kittens are placed without that important information. One beautiful Siamese female and 2 cute and playful tabby stripe males are needing good homes. Not just any homes-good homes. Please help me pass the word along. These kittens were born next to my garage. I knew the mother had placed them there and I sneaked and watched them until that big flood on Friday night about 4 weeks ago. When I went to check on them, one was floating in about a foot of water. I panicked and thought they had drowned so David helped me look for them. The mother had carried all of them but 1 to a ledge above the porch. She must have dropped the one or it had floated in the fast moving rain. I got him and dried him off and took the others to a safe place. Then I managed to get the mother. They have been raised indoors for the past 4 weeks and have adjusted to people. Now they need the love of a home that otherwise they would not have had if she had not placed them where she did. I have to believe God guides them to places that will help them along the way. They are off to a good start!
