IN FRONT OF BABAJI´S CAVE It was February 1979. I knelt in front of Babaji at the entrance to the cave where he had appeared at the foot of Kailash. He looked at me and said: You Parvati. You Gaura Devi. You Lord Shiva´s wife. OM Namah Shivay! How should I understand this? For God´s sake, do not become self-important! At first I could only take it in by thinking that somehow the entire creation is Lord Shiva´s Wife, and that Parvati might be incarnated in different forms of expression of herself within the creation, each of which is a particle of the great Goddess.
