IN GODS LOVE FOR US How Great Thou ... Gods Love for us? (Read Romans 5:6-11) When we utterly helpless, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners. Now, most people would not be willing to die for an upright person, though someone might perhaps be willing to die for a person who is especially good. But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners. And since we have been made right in Gods sight by the blood of Christ, he will certainly save us from Gods condemnation. For since our friendship with God was restored by the death of his Son. So now we can rejoice in our wonderful new relationship with God because our LORD JESUS has made us friends of God. (Daily Walk) HOW GREAT IS GODS LOVE FOR US? Paul wrote to the Romans: ... God demonstrates His own love us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us (verse 8). We can appreciate the depths of Gods love by elucidating or making it clear in the five descriptions of our condition that Paul makes in Romans 5:6-11. At just the right time, Paul said in verse 6 ... When we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly (hindi pa naniniwala at nagtitiwala pa sa kanya). Powerless and ungodly are the first two descriptions, we were powerless and helpless (walang magagawa kahit anupamang kabutihan sa ating palagay) to get out of the hole where our sins have placed us. s the old hymn says, Not the labour of my hands can fulfill Thy laws demands; Could my zeal no respite know, Could my tears for ever flow, All for sin could not atone (hindi malilinis), Thou must save and Thou alone! We were powerless. We were also ungodly precisely. Perhaps we were not as wicked as we can possibly be, but we did not really care for God and for godliness. We marginalized God (minamaliit siya natin pagkat umasa tayo sa ating sariling kalakasan ng kartawan at pag-iisip) in the way we lived by our own way. We spent our money mainly for our ownselves, and devoted our energies and strenght in pursuits that are not important to God. with so much reasonings and emotional behind. We did not really care for God and for what He wants for us to follow and obey Him. We were ungodly. Thirdly, we were undeserving ....Paul says it is rare for anyone to die in the place if an upright person. Would you take a bullet to protect the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court? Possibly. It is more conceivable for one to give life his life for a truely good person. Would you donate two liters of your blood to save your grandfathers? Probably. The upright and the good may be deserving of such sacrifices. We were neither upright nor good WHEN CHRIST DIED FOR US> WE were sinners! This Fourth description means that that we were habitual breakers of Gods law. Or, we simply missed the mark, failing to live up to Gods standard of righteousness. Finally, Paul says we were Gods enemies! Not just strangers to Him, people of whom God doews not know, and who do not know God, but enemies! Those who provoke Gods wrath. and who fully deserve His judgment of death, or separation from His Holy presence. Powerless, ungodly, undeserving sinners, and Gods enemies? ....INSPITE OF ALL THIS, GOD DEMONSTRATES HIS LOVE FOR US BECAUSE JESUS DIED for us! Do you accept the diagnosis said above ---the five-fold descriptions? WHY NOT RECEIVE THE CURE---THE OFFER OF GODs RECONCILIATION THROUGH CHRIST JESUS?
