IN MEMORY OF KIM As many of my close friends know, my wife, Gwenda Barath, is currently in Oklahoma due to some family health issues. Her birth Mother, Joyce, is fighting stage 4 cancer. Her Step-Mother, Wanda, has been battling some seizures, causes yet to be determined. Sadly, we learned this morning that her step-sister, Kim Stribling-Hunter, has passed away from unknown causes. Kim was one of the most kind and caring individuals I know, and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Kims thing was greeting cards. She sent cards to everyone for every occasion, sometimes for no reason other than to say Im thinking of you. I ask of you only this: take a few moments and send someone you care for a card, note, postcard, letter, etc, just to let them know youre thinking of them. (Texts and emails are OK, but theres something about getting good old fashioned mail that seems special!) Encourage the recipient to do the same for someone else. And somewhere on the card, letter, etc, write In memory of Kim. In doing so, you will brighten a loved ones day, and perhaps cause a chain reaction of day-brightening, that hopefully will continue. This is also the best way I can think of to honor the memory of my lovely sister-in-law. Thank you in advance for you thoughts and prayers! As well as for the cards!
