Ladies, when you have a special event like a wedding, where youll have photos taken to capture those special moments and look at years and years from now... please consider investing time into the person putting makeup on YOUR FACE. Funny, women will drop a butt load on shoes that are covered by a huge dress and not ever get worn again... blows my mind. Today, I witnessed a poor lady get her makeup done by a beauty advisor for her wedding... for free by someone who had never touched her face and only worked in cosmetics for a few months (which is okay, whatever... but there are risks and you cant be mad at your free results)... regardless of the fact that it is a small wedding, you still want to look good... its a very special occasion. After MORE THAN AN HOUR and THREE removals of eye makeup she didnt like... the lady left with a very simple, everyday look that she could have accomplished herself. Hell, even the womans friend ended up doing the eyeliner when the beauty advisor walked away. This could have been easily prevented if a few things would have happened... like looking for a great artist and going for a trial. When you get a great artist, they genuinely care about what you want accomplished... they want to help make your day, they relieve some of your stress, they give you the convenience of going to YOU and have enough integrity to make sure that you are 110% satisfied. Just something to think about the next time you ask why a makeup artist is SOOOO expensive. High quality products, professionalism, and convenience. Sorry for my rant lol.
