“IN RAINS THE DUCKS INVADED CRICKET OVAL” Cricket oval the day before the concert looked as if it was the biggest stadium in Uganda, only to realize that this stadium was just a mire pie for the fans of Dr. Jose Chameleone who is set to fly out the second time after the Australia tour just a month ago. Due to high demand by fans Europe dates have been schedule. Yes cricket oval was fully occupied; the population didn’t spare the pavilion! One would question my sight and clarity on the matter, especially if he/she has ever attended one of the events held at the same stadium, whether sports or an international Concert by the big wings of this world in Music as people justify. The performance started early enough, bit after bit, the upcoming artistes were warming the spectators. Anxiety started when the Leoneisland firm started to exhibit the arte of music one could easily predict they were on the threshold of a new era! Indeed it was, the protege of Dr.Jose Chameleone to start with was Vidio Brown Mujasi soldier the mileage to begin dancing was no more, in unbuttoned shirt and his stylished hair, the Landlord artist did his old songs and his current….with the dance strokes people were so happy, hailing and dancing along, the MC introduced yet another talented , a situation of escapism, I could hardly remember home, King Saha was on board, he performed and made people sing like they were chewing chicken, what a thriller it was! Lastly he did his new song Mulilwana and people concluded leoneisland is where talent breath, No one knew that the dance hall king whose first appearance in the show biz was in the early video of the Popular Mama Mia, one would urge that AK-fourtyseven came to showbiz in the Bayuda Remix lol no no,he started early enough no wonder he made people pull up their chairs,therewas no more VIP ,all jolly up,all ,smashing the soils, Ak-47 could remained you the performance of Dr.Jose Chameleone in the Valu Valu concert two years ago.He performed tracks but the new one “Onemye” a luganda and urban English mixed lyrics, still they weren’t enough ,however, time was a factor to beat, he made us enter the Jamaican way of celebration when he and Daziza did bubble gum a song which raised criticism by the government early last year,I tell you what, people loved the stage performance, he then concluded with Champion a scooter of muscles . Well, it was Part 3 now, After Ak-Fourtyseven, interlude by the MC and the sponsors, Tailor Latif made a dress in 6minutes and Kazora of Buddies Music with Win cash were a spice to the event. All these happened when MUN-G as usual did his lugaflow not limited to Sejusa and the up-todate Born a fighter a collabo with Dr.Jose Chameleone. Big eye turned up, people love this guy too and he is confident and an energetic performer. Time check it was around 8:30pm or so, speculation running our minds who was coming next ; former Eagle’s Production Class, Geoffrey Lutaya and Irene Namatovu shunting and singing gave this couple a reason to feel the support, it was the biggest crowd remember. They performed their Love Song amidst cheers they despaired. I cant stop here, this Artiste called hmm?? David Lutalo from the backstage , he bumped on the stage,guys! He started Helena and guess what a soft voice from the background was Radio’s. Mose Radio of Goodlyf was finally on the stage performing alongside Kapapala people ran wild,I mean wild when Weasel Manizo with whom they form a goodlyfe duo with Mose Radio came on stage, the Weasel guy has a voice and energy that can easily blow off the speakers, he can flow in his style, never pray for the separation of these two, these BET former nominees performed at their fathers concert. This was the last nail for the wicked corridor beef between them and their mentor, teacher and brother Dr.Jose Chameleone, what a honor it was! I give this more life because it was no longer a swank thing, fans welcomed them back home. It was time for the stamina Artiste Eddy Kenzo to showcase, surprisingly with him were the children who danced in his current song….they did their thing and we gave them the support. He did his best and thanked the crowed for the support towards the historical concert. Another Artiste who got the support of the fans was Aganaga the man behind Ekitangaza, whom even Dr.Jose Chameleone declared to be his No. 1 fan Yet another segment came on, our brothers from Kamwokya, Mickie Wine the vice C/p of Firebase a musical group in Uganda, came in and did his 3 tracks and people were satisfied. Is it a surprise for you, well it shouldn’t because even the Boss him self the Gladiator HE Bobi Wine came after him. Bobi wine made a good performance alongside Nubian Lee. This was expected since Dr.Jose Chameleone explained his reluctance towards whoever holds grudge against him” Enmity Takes Our Music No Where” Exclaimed by Dr.Jose Chameleone in the wrap up of 2013 Celebration at Sheraton Hotel Kampala. Finally it was time for Dr.Jose Chameleone to take full charge of the stage until closure. THIS IS WHERE THE HEADING Comes in “IN RAINS THE DUCKS INVADED CRICKET OVAL”. Rains started pouring with lightening, reminding us the days of Jesus, when the Voice came from the Clouds “This is My Son whom I am well pleased”. Already the Pavilion was occupied but there was still some space there and in the tents. Dr.Jose Chameleone Dressed like an ancient king of the Roman Empire he took up the stage amidst a happy, jubilating and filled with gas thousands of fans. It was raining, but I felt like it was sweat! I could hardly feel the rain; Dr.Jose Chameleone was doing Nyanja a song he did after a lot of criticism from his fellow artistes, some of which were even present during this marvelous event. Sparkling like Michael Jacksons Museum artier Dr.Jose Chameleone made people run mad. These Ducks were happy in the rain, they only could listen to Lyrics and the sound of the best band for me, He did all the songs ringing in your head as you read this, mama Mia, Jamila shida za dunia etc etc, before he welcomed the visitors from Tanzania, Kenya, Rwanda etc. He then did together with the Swahili Nation a song which he was Part. Now, the silence as we all forgot the drops from rain, Dr.Jose Chameleone’s son, below 13yrs amazingly took as by surprise.This young guy will give the current Navio’s a good competition in HIPHop and RnB. He did a remix and simplified lyrics,free style Bow wow. It was another spice noticed, I guess he will join the chameleonefoundation in full swing. Well he did about three songs on that thing Katumwa blows best. He thanked God for the love, no wonder the song TUBONGE, whose true meanings range from hosting God to our Homes and showering God with Love. By blowing Amazing Grace, this explained the Love. His Latest International Videos were disclosed to the fans, who didn’t only cheer him but also boasted along side their Celeb, lol. Why not? Uganda’s Music has to be weighed on the International Scale. He thanked his wife Daniella Atim for being a True African Woman, who has never given up on him in odd and even days. We were all wet, wet and could only get the warmth from the contraction of our muscles, sweat and happiness. He did all the hit songs, valu value, Badilisha etc up to the Main Hit TUBONGE, the back singers for this track was a choir from a certain Church, people danced along up to 11:30pm then he did the Urban stream Gimme Gimme, enough was not enough but money was valued and Love shown.
