IN THE ALMIGHTY NAME OF GOD ALLAH! MOST GRACIOUS, MOST MERCIFUL! WISE! AS SALAAMU ALAIKUM WORLDWIDE! (RAMADDAN MUBARAK) For CLARITY and a CLEAR Drawing worldwide, we Draw on reminding ourselves first and then others! In Shaa Allah Taala. UNITY means BEing (together), BEing as (one), for Muslims, unity meens keeping up Good relations with each other, helping each other in NEED, and generally BEing (Peaceable). DIS-unity means always quarrelling and looking for (causes) to DIS-agree about, and NOT helping each other in NEED. The HOLY QURAN clearly commands Muslims to Be UNITED! We draw: And hold steady, all of you together, to the rope of Allah, and do not separate. [AlImran 3:103]. And obey Allah and His Messenger, and do not quarrel with one another, or you will stumble and your strength go away from you. Rather stand firm. Truly Allah is with those who stand firm. [al-Anfal 8:46] The Blessed Prophet [pbuh] said: All Muslims are like the bricks of a building that support each other. Unity is of great practical importance, BEcause it gives a community strength. Families, nations, and countries that are united, ENJOY a high reputation in the world, and move with confidence along the path of (Progress) and Prosperity. By contrast, DIS-united people are VERY vulnerable to DEFEAT and (humiliation) at the hands of their ENEMIES and they LOSE the strength necessary to run their (own) affairs. Naam Akh! Thus we draw it is EVERY Muslims DUTY: 1) to express solidarity with other Muslims and develop unity of PURPOSE and ACTion; 2) to AVOID actions that create differences and DISPUTES; 3) to NEVER quarrel with Anyone, and if he/she does, to reconcile (immediately) and keep his heart FREE of bitterness and hate; 4) to DO every MAJOR piece of work after proper consultation with and, so far as possible, with the consent of, ALL those who are concerned or affected by it; i.e. (All Up-Lifting Acts) 5) NOT to differ with the advice of others just for the sake of it, just to stick to his/her own point of view; 6) to join the congregation on Fridays in a Jamaaat in the Mosque; 7) to attend the two id prayers and celebrate in company with others; 8) whenever he prays with others, to keep the rows of worshippers straight: as the Blessed Prophet [pbuh] said that deviation from this practice affects the HEART and leads to differences amoung Muslims; 9) to appreciate others good deeds and overlook their shortcomings. Thus, putting others First, showing respect and kindness, BEing open and generous and eager to share; these ARE the attributes that (Help) to Unify Muslims. The Blessed Prophet [pbuh] said to his companions: Listen, I will tell you a thing that is better than voluntary prayers, fasting, giving alms, and charity. What is it? It is to STRIVE to remove social [evils] and make up differences and quarrels. Then he added; Take note. To develop differences in society is just like (making) a razor which, instead of hair, shaves off faith. SUBHAN ALLAH INdeed! When a flower blooms, its colour and scent first touch the garden near it, and then SPREAD! In the same way, a Muslims ACTS of human kindness should first touch those NEAREST to him, his family and his neighbors! A Muslim MUST Love Allah [swt] and express that Love in his/her ACTions, by following Allahs LAW! But, without LOVE of Allah [swt], it is an uphill climb to gain PEACE of Mind and Contentment. And in the END, is NOT at all possible! Therefore LEARN to Love instead of Hate! Living at Peace with Allah [swt] and one/s surrounding is the key to a successful LIFE.
