IN THE NOT SO GOOD NEWS & NEED PRAYERS DEPARTMENT... Our little Chico Chito Burrito (senior lab/chihuahua -- thats the best way to describe him! -- fka Bethlehem that we rescued at Christmas) literally JUST finished heartworm treatment today.... and had to be rushed to the vet this morning because it appears hes eaten some things he shouldnt have. Like pee pads... :( Hes never been really destructive, but he started vomiting yesterday and up came some pieces of pee pads and other random things. So we observed him through this morning and he hadnt improved and was feeling pretty puny. Vet just called and there are two suspicious areas on x-ray. They are starting the barium study -- something lots of lab owners are familiar with!!! unfortunately -- to see if said objects are moving along or need to be removed. We will know about 5:30 if he will go into surgery or not. Please send Chico Chito Burrito your best prayers and good wishes!
