INCLEMENT WEATHER - LATE START FRIDAY, JAN. 24 We have been monitoring the weather predictions for tonight and tomorrow morning. Because of the possibility of inclement weather and the concern about our students’ and faculty/staff safety, we have decided to have a late start for tomorrow, Friday, January 24, 2014. The school building will open as usual between 6:30–6:45 a.m.; however, classes will begin at 10 a.m. and dismissal will be at 3:10 p.m. We understand that you as parents/guardian have to assess the weather conditions in your neighborhood and will make the decision about the safety of your student and when he/she will be able to arrive to school tomorrow. We ask that if your student is unable to attend school, to please contact the attendance or the Dean of Students’ Office by phone (713.579.7505) or by email. Below is the proposed schedule for tomorrow: 10:00 – 10:35 Period 1 10:40 – 11:15 Period 2 11:20 – 11:55 Period 3 12:00 - 12:30 Lunch 12:35 – 1:10 Period 4 1:15 – 1:50 Period 5 1:55 – 2:30 Period 6 2:35 – 3:10 Period 7 Should weather conditions change and there is a need for us to further delay our start or cancel classes, we will make every attempt to alert you in a timely manner via our IRIS system and you will receive an email or phone call from the school.
