INDEPENDENT ELECTORAL COMMISSION (IEC) ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER: PROCUREMENT (Ref: NO- 0179) National Office [Centurion - Tshwane] (Inclusive remuneration package of R270, 498.00 per annum) The Administrative Officer will administer the uninterrupted supply of required services in the travel desk. The Administrative Officer reports to the Senior Administrative Officer: Procurement. Duties: Administer travel desk; Process travel and conference arrangements for employees and line-function departments of the Commission; Process national and provincial travel requisitions; Deal with changes to travel, car hire, conference purchase orders; Meeting with the contracted travel agents; Attend and investigate complaints/queries; Compile necessary report findings of complaints/queries; Keep up to date with travel policies; Register and record purchase orders submitted for payment; Other ad hoc procurement activities as may be required. Requirements: Matric/N3 plus an appropriate tertiary qualification (diploma or degree) with at least 2 years’ relevant working experience in the procurement environment; Knowledge of the PFMA, treasury and other procurement related regulations and legislation; Good communication skills, analytical skills and good computer literacy/skills Practical experience and knowledge of SAP will be an advantage; Good verbal and written communication skills; Attention to detail and a high level of ethical conduct; How to Apply Applications for the vacant post at the National Office in Centurion (Tshwane] must be submitted to: The Manager: Human Resources: P/Bag X112, Centurion, 0046, or Fax: (012) 622-5219 or email [email protected].
