INDIA FIRST OF ITS KIND INNOVATIVE IDEA TO DUPE FOREIGN JOB SEEKER WHERE ONE TRAVEL AGENT POSING HIMSELF UNDER DIFFERENT TALKING WITH VICTIM ON INTERNET SHOWING AS IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES BUT NEXT DOOR IN INDIA AND IN THE PROCESS DUPED NUMBER OF PERSONS AND ONE VICTIM PAID HIM RS.5 LAKHS FOR FOREIGN JOBS AND FILED COMPLAINT AND POLICE ARRESTED HIM 8TH AUGUST 2014 CHANDIGARH: In a first of its kind case, the cyber crime cell has arrested a fraudster for cheating persons through VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) application on his mobile phone on the pretext of sending them abroad from near Sector 36. The accused, Sachin Bhagmal Shah, had duped people with fake names of Aditya Sanghvir, Rajvir Mishra, Rajat and Srikant Shekhawat. He was first arrested in a case of brawl with complainant Mustaq Ghosh on August 5 with the name of Aditya Sanghvir and was bailed out. Sources said through VOIP he used to call his clients and claim he was calling from abroad. He used to assure them easy migration abroad. With the help of the app, his location used to be shown in a foreign country and he managed to dupe many city residents, police said. The accused took Rs 5 lakh from Ghosh, police said. The accused called Ghosh stating that he was calling from abroad while he was actually in Attawa village in Sector 42. Ghosh ignorant about the actual name of the accused, gave his name as Srikant Shekhawat in his police complaint. Ghosh told the police that the accused contacted him on his mobile and assured that he could send him abroad. Ghosh claimed that the accused took money from him but later started making excuses, following which Ghosh lodged a complaint with the local police.
