INDIA STILL IN FEAR OF AFRIDI Imran Khan: Former 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan believes India are still in fear of Shahid Afridi due to the Asia Cup loss saying Afridi is one of the top five T20 players in the world who can bowl and also hit huge sixes which are a necessity in this format. Imran, who played for the Pakistani cricket team from 1971 to 1992, said Afridi is the key to Pakistan team. Afridis bowling and batting are ideally suited for this format, he said. Imran said in a Test match you can easily say that a team that does consistently well wins the match. In a 20 over game, the match changes hands in a matter of 2 to 3 overs so to predict a winner is difficult, he said while talking to a private news channel. Imran, who served as captain from 1982 to 1992, said when he was the captain, he was never shy to change the batting order as the situation demanded. I would advise Captain Muhammad Hafeez to go in with a flexible mindset when thinking about the batting order, he said adding I had always told my team not to play with the fear of losing a game. Talking about attitudes, Imran said there are two types of attitudes one which says I will win while the other says I hope I dont lose. That kind of attitude results in losing matches from a winning position, he said. Imran, who at the age of 39 led Pakistan team to the first and only World Cup victory in 1992, said the person who goes in the match with a desire to win can win from a losing position. My attitude is different, some people would win the game by restricting runs whilst I would win by taking wickets, he said adding the 1992 World Cup was won by taking wickets.
