INDOOR SCHOOL UPDATE............ We have been granted permission to build our indoor school! Thank you so much to all those who made the time to support our application to the council. We now have to finance this project, so I can’t give you a date when it will be in available but I can say a very big thank you! We are planning on going to Royal Leisure Amateur show on Sunday 15th (royalleisure.co.uk/showjumping.html). So if anyone would like to come along and would like me to warm them up (£15 for the day) then let me know, as I will only do so many in a class. I also have some coaching slots on the Saturday 14th, if you would like a session the day before the show. Classes start at 75cm and go up to 1.10cm. I will be going to the Arena UK Festival Show, so I won’t be available for coaching from Saturday 21st September through to Monday 30th September. Also I thought some of you might like to know that from 1st September there is a change of heights for the BS Amateur classes. I understand that this has been done because the categories of the shows are changing and it is going to be possible to run a height open alongside the novice classes (so a British Novice can have a 90cm Open class running alongside it). So by changing the heights of the Amateur classes it will give classes of a different heights in the same schedule. I think that the 85cm will be a great way for some of you to convert and try out affiliated jumping. And now there should be one at every Amateur show. So there will be a 95cm, 95cm, 1.05cm & 1.10cm (under run as an A10 I believe)
