INGREDIENTS: 1 whole Garlic bulb 1 tablespoon olive oil 2 basil leaves Salt and Pepper to taste PREPARATION: Preheat the oven to 375˚ Remove the very outer flaky layer of skin from the garlic bulb. With a knife, cut off the top (pointed end) of the garlic, so you are left with exposed cloves. Trim the tops off of any cloves that haven’t been revealed. Place the garlic bulb and the basil leaves on a large square of aluminum foil. Drizzle with the olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Fold the edges of aluminum up around the garlic and twist to close, so the garlic is inside the pouch and cannot be seen. Place in the oven and roast for 40-45 mins, until the cloves are tender and just beginning to brown. Remove, let cool slightly, and squeeze out the cloves into a container. Use on…just about anything!
