INNIS: ‘Obama is Al Sharpton with a Harvard Degree’ On Monday, TheTeaParty.net’s Executive Director Niger Innis appeared on FOX News’ Hannity along with liberal Mike Meyers of the New York Civil Rights Coalition and Kevin Jackson, the Blacksphere. All three were very critical of the handling of the situation in Ferguson by not only the local and state police, but also by the governor of Missouri as well as Barack Obama and Eric Holder. Meyers opens the segment stating that Ferguson represents a failure in leadership. He said, “ It starts with the empty suit in chief, Barack Obama, who racializes every incident between a cop or want to be cop and a civilian. And it starts with the Attorney General who is also an empty suit.” He asserts that Holder has changed the Justice Department to the ‘Just Us” department, likely in response to Holder’s proud declaration that he is an activist attorney general. There was also harsh criticism from all three regarding the protesters and the black race hustlers who have arrived at the scene. While some have had great things to say about Captain Ron Johnson, the man put in charge to try to quell tensions by the governor, a feat that lasted a brief amount of time. Meyers had harsh words for him and his speech in which he said heis embarrased by his uniform. This was merely a continued racialization of the situation, according to Meyers. But, then again, he also asserted, Obama racializes every incident between a cop or want to be cop and a civilian. Hannity then played a video with a chant led by the New Black Panther Party in which the people called for the death of Officer Darren Wilson, the officer involved in the shooting of Michael Brown. Kevin Jackson pondered what side the people would be on if the races were reversed in the situation. He asked, “If you were to change the race in this situation, a black cop shooting a white kid, then what would people be saying. What side of the law would people be on?” He said he believes they would give the police officer, in that case, the benefit of the doubt and say that we need to wait for the facts to come in. Sean then turns to Niger and asks for his input. He powerfully states, “ I want to give your viewers perspective. Jeremiah Wright. Michelle and Barack Obama. Louis Farrakhan. Jesse Jackson Jr. who is a former congressman. Jesse Jackson, Sr. What do all these people have in common? They are part of the black elite, and power elite, the talented 10th of Chicago, Illinois. And Chicago under their leadership, since 2001, some 5,000 killings, murders have occurred. That’s more than double the amount of people killed in Afghanistan since 2001! And I see no protest. I see no outrage.” Meyers then interrupts Innis accusing him of changing the subject, stating that they are not talking about black on black crime to which Niger responded, “It’s about the value of black life, Michael. Black life does not lose its value because its taken by another black!” Hannity interrupts and says what Niger is trying to say, he believes, is that there is selective moral outrage. The liberal Meyers responded, “Of course there’s selective moral outrage. There is no morality here. That’s the problem.” As Hannity tries to close the segment, Innis finishes with an incredibly powerful statement that puts things into perspective. He passionately states, “That’s the problem, Michael. You have a President of the United States that was elected to bring us together as a nation. He’s been nothing more than Al Sharpton with a Harvard degree.” https://m.youtube/watch?v=HotUls0Fq1g
