INTERNSHIP FOR WALK OF FAME AND HISTORICAL PROJECT Salary/Wage: TBD / Hourly Days: To be determined Job Description: Walk of Fame Internship Gregory J. Reed is the Chairman of Entertainment Commission and his office is a nationally known law firm that represents clients in entertainment, intellectual property, trademark and copyright law, and business entities and work with the Detroit Entertainment Commission. The Commission is one of nine commissions in the United States. The goals of the Commission is to attract, cultivate economic opportunities for the city residents and cultural, athletic, film, and special events that occur within and or are hosted by organization, individuals, or the city of Detroit. In addition, the Commission: 1. Evaluates the various entities actively promoting and or coordinating local entertainment, cultural, athletic, and special events; 2. Collaborates with local business and civic organizations to attract entertainment, cultural, athletic, and special events to the City of Detroit; and 3. Develop a plan to apprise City residents of business opportunities created by entertainment, cultural, athletic, and special events that occur within and or are hosted by the City of Detroit. The office currently has an immediate open for internship position, minimum of three month for a student or graduate position interested in working on projects with the Detroit Entertainment Commission. The projects consist of but are not limited to the international entertainment tourist destination. Applicants must have very good computer, research skills, web development is helpful exceptional word processing ability, excellent verbal and written communication skills, must handle themselves in a professional manner, work well under pressure and on deadlines, possess a very positive mental attitude to learn from constructive feedback, a team player, detail oriented, have the desire and ability to grow personally and professionally. Experience in website and or graphic design will be helpful. Historical Project Internship Gregory J. Reed & Associates, P.C. is a nationally known law firm that represents clients in entertainment, intellectual property, trademark and copyright law, and business entities. The office specializes in intellectual property, business related media and entertainment impacts humanity. The office currently has an immediate open internship position for a student position interested in working on a major historical project and social media technology. This is an internship position for 3 months minimum and only related expenses will be covered, possibly can lead to staff position part time. The intern can also arrange to receive college credits from their schools.
