EXPERIENCE: Relevant experience would be advantageous BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: o The intern will be given a specific project to do for a certain period of time and will be held responsible for the efficient running of the event process and execution of the event on the days thereof. PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & REQUIREMENTS: o Proficiency in both English and Afrikaans o Be in possession of a code B driver’s licence o Own transport essential o Excellent telephone communication skills o Computer knowledge, specifically Outlook, Excel and Word applications o Excellent people and motivational skills o Sound written and verbal communication skills o Ability to work in a team MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE o Manage all aspects of the event o Obtain necessary quotations o Put budgets together o Attend all meetings o Responsible for selling exhibition space to potential exhibitors o Booking artists and managing entertainment area o Responsible for event setup and break-down o Executing the event on the event days o Do post-event report CLOSING DATE: 14 June 2013 at 17h00 Interested applicants are requested to apply with a comprehensive CV to Cornel via e-mail: [email protected].
