For those of you who are praying for my mom: her mobility is improving each day. Yesterday she did some physical therapy using a walker and, with assistance, was able to walk as far as the doorway – and back. Her speech is improving also, but at a slightly slower rate. She’s very tired and her body is feeling the effects of so many hours in bed. She is in good spirits, alert and, even in her condition, continues to be a woman of prayer. My dad, in the words of my sister-in-law, “remains a steady and calm presence and a wonderful example to us all of quiet surrender to the will of God.” My parents both deeply appreciate your faithful, fervent prayers and are moved to tears when they realize that people all over the world are lifting them before the Throne of Grace. Those prayers have been, and continue to be powerful and effective. Thank you.
