IRB Womens Rugby should really expand the 7s tournament to 16 teams each series. You have teams like France and Fiji beating core members today; imagine what they could do if included on each stop? Or Japan and South Africa, who made the Dubai final last year and just played in Hong Kong taking 3rd? What about giving Kazakhstan an invite? They beat multiple series teams in Hong Kong too, winning against Ireland & China and also placing higher than Brazil. Giving more countries more opportunities to play and develop will only grow the game further! It would make the series more exciting, far less routine. And in turn it would make the Olympics far better. Its simply not competitive when the 4 teams have a clear lock on the top spots..... and just look at the fact that Fijiana beat the 5th rated team England today! Give more women more of a chance to play! And who knows - more teams may just help fill the stadiums a wee bit better.....
