IS GREETING “NAMASKAR” ALLOWED IN ISLAM The word Namaskar come from Sanskrit word Id dam Namamay “ Which means “I welcome you by bowing down my head” Which is harram and shrik, the biggest crime in Islam. We bow down our head before Allah only, the creator and no one else. In Islam, every individual is given respect according to his/her level and bowing before anyone is the last level of respect that one can pay and one can receive or is entitled to. Hence one must bow down, but only to the one who is supreme and greatest of all. Say ye: Bear witness that we (at least) are Muslims (bowing to Allahs Will).” [Al Qur’an 3:64] Shirk is the greatest sin that Allah will never forgive. The Qur’an describes the greatest sin in Surah Al-Nisa’: Allah forgives not That partners should be set up With Him; but He forgives Anything else, to whom He pleases; to set up Partners with Allah Is to devise a sin Most heinous indeed. [Al-Qur’an 4:48] Even according to the Hindus scripture saying Namasakar” also prohibited since the Vedas, Upanishads and etc... They speak about the only one true God, only He deserves worship and no one else. @
