IS NEW CREATION THINKING TOO MUCH TO ACHIEVE? To many Christians deal with guilt and are constantly seeking forgiveness, too many Christians are afraid when certain circumstances arise, too many Christians feel alone in problems or just always alone, too many Christians feel inadequate, too many Christians see themselves as incapable to change, fix or overcome anything. THIS IS NOT NEW CREATION THINKING. WHY DO WE KEEP THINKING THROUGH THE OLD CREATION? ROM. 7:23 - Old creation knowledge is in you and its knowledge fights to DOMINATE WHO YOU ARE. Old creation knowledge tells you how to put things right according to the natural material realm. This knowledge is correct knowledge but humans were not created to be DOMINATED BY THIS KNOWLEDGE Humans were created in the image and likeness of God, faith beings. The Word of God is the KNOWLEDGE we were always to live by to tell us what is right. WE SHOULD BE CAUTIOUS OF THE WORD WE HEAR. WHY? We are all growing in Christ. We must discern what we hear. Some teachers that call themselves Christian may have a mixed message, (part old creation part new creation). Jesus talked about old wine and new wine. - Matt. 9:17 If we have had trouble discerning between an old creation message and a new creation message, we should be extra cautious. Some people listen to an old creation message and it reinforces that old creation knowledge in them. - 2 Cor. 3:15-16 Even to this day when Moses is read, a VEIL ( flesh, old creation thinking and seeing through works and the law of sin & death) covers their hearts. But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the VEIL is taken away. HERE IS GODS SOLUTION: BE RENEWED IN THE SPIRIT OF YOUR MIND - Eph. 4:23-24 Because if you have received Jesus Christ you are holy, faultless and irreproachable:Yet now has [Christ, the Messiah] reconciled [you to God] in the body of His flesh through death, in order to present you holy and faultless and irreproachable in His [the Father’s] presence. - Col. 1:22 (Amplified Bible) God wants you to think like He thinks, to see like He sees!
