IS THE ABSENCE OF WEARING VEIL AMONG WOMEN PART OF THEIR HAVING BECOME LIBERATED? ...that they have come a long way; they have come of age? Veils and Modest Dress at Mass https://youtube/watch?v=H5GWHEP4bBQ Veils and modest dress in Church was once commonplace...Unfortunately this is not as true as it used to be. Many of the visionaries who claim to see Our Lord and Our Lady warn us: Immodesty is a sign of a society in decay, and that the end of the age is upon us. St. Nilus (5th century) said a time will come when people will abandon modesty and Tradition. One of these Traditions is the wearing of the veils at Mass. Our Lady asks us to dress modestly, and be respectful in Church since we are in the Presence of our Lord. Alhough veils for women are no longer a requirement, the Bible says this: If a woman prays or prophesies with her head uncovered, she dishonors her head. [1 Cor 11:5] The veil for women is also a symbol of union with Christ, Who is the Bridegroom of the Church. This is also true of the veils worn by nuns; and little girls receiving First Comunion: They look like little brides. Veils come in many different patterns, styles and colors; and are pretty to look at. Dressing modestly and respectfully at Mass is just as important. Long skirts are always beautiful, anyway. And besides, would you wear short shorts and flip flops to your friends wedding? Then, why would you waer them in Church? HAVE COURAGE! DONT FOLLOW THE TRENDS OF A SOCIETY IN MORAL DECAY! May God bless you abundantly in re-evaluating how you are to be a member of the Roman Catholic Church.
