ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry, while hearing the National Reconciliation Ordinance (NRO) implementation case Wednesday, questioned about the appointment of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) chairman, Geo News reported. A three-judge bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry was hearing the NRO implementation case today. During the hearing, the CJ ordered the attorney general to get the instructions from the concerned authorities with respect to the order given in NRO implementation case and submit his reply in the court by 1 pm today. Justice Ijaz Chaudhry questioned that why the government has not appointed the NAB chairman so far. On this, NAB Prosecutor General KK Agha told that the Supreme Court had ordered to appoint the chairman a month ago. Replying to this, the CJ asked that how the bureau was functioning without a chairman.
