ISLAMIC QUALITIES to be strictly practiced with efforts, so others may follow as well by learning and inculcating these in ourselves, and persuade others to make similar efforts, to have a collective campaign for the growth of Islam in its true form, which is the urgent need of this age of materialism. :-) To believe, to say and to act on the faith that Allah is the only Power who solely controls all things, grants success and failure in life, thus, He alone is to be worshipped and obeyed. Success depends on how we truly adopt the way of life preached and taught by Prophet Muhammad, s.a.w. being the true and last Prophet of Allah. This is the literal meaning and implication of LA ILAHA ILLALLAH MUHAMMADUR RASULULLAH, and to have this ideally, we begin to change our own life on the pattern or guidance required by these words (Kalimah). :-) To be punctual and regular in offering prayers five times a day, strictly in accordance with the Prophets s.a.w. sunnah thru utmost humility and helplessness, wherein greatness and superiority of Almighty Allah must be held uppermost in mind throughout the prayer. As if one is actually being presented to Almighty Allah in a manner that suits His majesty (the height of His greatness and Glory. :-) To develop attachment of body and soul to the Holy Quran, by reciting daily a portion of it, with highest respect and reverence, and understanding its meaning, but if unable to do that, he must recite it hoping for salvation and progress. Simple recitation of the original words is a great blessing. :-) To ensure ones own children, friends, neighbours are taught the Holy Quran and other religious books as a first step in their learning. :-) To be devoted some time each day to zikr, concentrating on the Omnipotence, Greatness, and Attributes of Almighty Allah, and offering Durood (Salawat, prayers, dua) for the Holy Prophet, s.a.w. :-) To keep in mind that every Muslim must be considered as ones real brother/sister, wherein must always be given affection, sympathy and sincere attention at all times, particularly when he is in need. The fact that a person professes the faith of Islam, automatically entitles him to brotherly respect and reverence from all Muslims, who must at all times refrain from causing him any physical or mental harm.
