Requirements This position requires proficiency in any three of the following categories: Air conditioning and refrigeration Pneumatic/electronic systems & controls Kitchen equipment Vehicles Energy conservation General building Electrical Mechanical Plumbing Carpentry & finish skills The associate is regularly required to walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. The associate is occasionally required to stand, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and taste or smell. Associate must be able to lift and/ or move from 10 pounds till occasionally more than 100 pounds. Qualification Standards: - LTS / MTS or higher diploma required - Prepare excellent communication skills, both verbal & written in English - Previous hotel or similar maintenance experience is required - Have and maintain a valid drivers license - Other Engineering certificates preferred Profile of qualifications: Good communication skills, warm friendly, calm, professional disposition, responsible, able to work under pressure, reliable, ability to work hard and quickly, honest, flexible and must have a positive attitude. Essential skills: - To be an independent mechanic, able to analyze problems and to formulate plans to get work done quickly including procurement of materials, parts etc. and necessary scheduling arrangements with a high degree of quality - Good communication and organisational skills - Hospitality skills Responsibilities The Engineer 3 is responsible for the specialized repair and maintenance in HVAC&R, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, kitchen, carpentry and other categories if requested.
