LTD, and SOL PETROLEUM (BARBADOS) SRL, delivering value-added products and services to its entire portfolio of customers, championing the customer service programs across company brands, aiding the company in delivering its short and long-term business objectives, and delivering 100% customer satisfaction. Job Description: • Develop and execute an annual sales and marketing plan, which delivers growth targets, visionary marketing initiatives, and aggressive sales tactics. • Deliver sales targets (margin, volumes, credit) through a structured method of managing the sales department, which maximizes customer targeting and account management. • Develops and executes with management team using available tools (Sales funnel tools such as SPANCOP, online, etc.) marine sales, lubricants, LPG and white oils fuel sales and marketing strategies targeted at annual, incremental, and profitable, customer base growth. • Maintain supply contracts for all customers that are both robust and compliant with regulatory pricing. These need to reflect accurate terms and conditions. • Ensure product pricing complies with company and regulatory guidelines. • Maintain market sales data information across all market segments, including competitor activity, for all products. • Manages key customer accounts and relationships directly. • Manages delinquent receivables and resolves bad debts in accordance with company credit manual. • Works with Distribution team to deliver outstanding service to customers. Monitor service calls, and compliance. • Deliver HSSE plans and targets as set by Operations. Review audit findings. • Lead and coach sales team where applicable. • Coordinates training and customer workshops (eg dealer meetings) when appropriate. • Compiles market share reports. • Deliver the agreed Brand Management communication for the commercial segment; ensure SOL and its affiliated brand corporate images are safeguarded. • Maintain a keen awareness of developments in the macro and micro economic and business environment, its impact to the commercial segment and assist in developing adaptive strategies and tactics to ensure maximum business results are maintained. • Prepare rolling quarterly estimates of product demand, with monthly updates, for submission to operations to ensure a timely product replenishment cycle, thus minimizing stock-outs. • Utilize business development tools in the analysis of new business opportunities. Qualification Requirements: • Masters’ Degree (preferably in Business Administration) with 7 years of demonstrated work experience in a senior leadership position. Competency Requirements/Other: • Knowledge of the Barbados market and operational methods of people in the area. • Experience in petroleum marketing, with sales experience. • Numerate with the ability to understand sales and management information reports. • Able to self-plan, motivate, and deliver results. • Demonstrates enthusiasm and an attitude to work well with others in teams. • Excellent interpersonal relationships with the proven ability to manage people. • Expresses confidence in dealing with customers. • Understands HSSE management. • Understands fuels and lubricant pricing. • Marketing planning and sales execution. • Demonstrated capability of delivering results and working well with others in teams. • A keen commercial sense is applied in all decision making. • Confidence in negotiating and resolving conflicts. Other Information: The position will be based in Barbados. In addition to basic salary the successful applicant shall receive job grade specified allowances and be eligible to participate in the Group Pension Scheme and its Group Health and Life Insurance Scheme.
