IT IS OFFICIAL, I am getting OLD! Just this past weekend I walked into a convenience store for only a couple of moments. As I approached the register to pay I noticed the young man (guessing mid twenties) kept staring at me, even as he was doing his best to ring up my items. The young man out of no where asks me if he could pay me a compliment. Three things came to mind for me, 1.) Seems harmless 2.) He is bashful, so it cant be bad and 3.) HECK, Im getting older so take them as you can. I reply to him of course you can.... he leans forward and in almost a whisper told me I have very nice eye brows!!! Thinking I heard him wrong (not trying to milk the same compliment twice) I did ask him to repeat. OK, he did in fact just compliment of all things my eye brows. I said thank you in almost the form of a question with a follow up of that is a first sir.... The irony in all of this is that I dont shape, arch or maintain my eye brows... I have a pact that I dont mess with them and they dont mess with me! My sweet clerk went on to explain that he admires eyebrows and notices them a regular basis... I gathered up my items as I was out the door and could not help but glance back once more just to process my compliment, as I do he is looking at me... and with a huge smile and a wink says hope that made your day.. LOL.... Secret? I have now at least 3 times either looked in a mirror or increased my profile picture to see these awesome eyebrows... Well, Im not seeing it! The simple, unexpected moments are the fun ones... I love it!
