Single hardworking mom needs a miracle ELMONT, NYAccidents & Emergencies Hello Everyone, As you know many crazy things have transpired this past year and a half. Between running away, establishing a great job with a great company, getting my little man settled, actively participating in Freedom Fighting activities, and getting my divorce finalized - where now my son and I have been ordered back to the very place we left. Why? You ask. Because Texas wants to maintain jurisdiction over custody and I would like to continue to maintain primary custody of my little man, Sage. Therefore, the deal was I have to leave behind everything I had established in NY and head to Texas and start from scratch. You got to love our judicial system (Sarcasm) I had to leave my wonderful job, my friends and family and start on a long drive back to Texas (starting tomorrow 9/9/2014.) Where currently, I have no apartment, no job and at the same time I have to figure out how I can obtain those necessities soon so I can support my son and myself. I had already thrown out about 50% of my belongings, and donated some clothes and toys, so I can fit everything in my little Pontiac. Recently, I had put in 42 applications for work in the past two weeks and have been actively searching for a place for my son and me to stay. In addition, once I am hired I should have no problem getting on my feet as I once did here in NY over a year ago. However, right now I find it a bit challenging and although I did not want to go this route - Several of my friends mentioned that GoFundMe would be a good idea. My dream is to provide my son with a home, but being that we have been through so many hardships - I am starting to lose hope. So here I am - If any of you could spare a little to help us get on our feet I would be extremely grateful - If not I completely understand. However, if you cannot, you could always nominate three people and make a video of yourself handing out food and/or blankets to the homeless. Thank you in advance. Peace, Love and Freedom. UPDATE (9/18/2014): I have been here for a little around a week and have been on 3 interviews and 2 phone interviews. I am frustrated because none of the apartments would take me until I have two paychecks from a current job. I have slepted in my car, in my sleeping bag outside at a truck stop and several dingy hotels. My son started school in Lockhart, TX and they have set up some special programs for him according to his IEP, where now I can not leave the Lockhart area. This is so frustrating, I just want to get an apartment and a job so I can bring my son back home. I have another phone interview in 15 mins - but I will keep everyone updated on my situation. Thank you for all your support thus far, it means the world to my son and I - Thank you! UPDATE: This trailer is cheap but Im only renting and it needs a lot of work. I dont know if I can do this. I stayed in my landlords garage and couldnt sleep. It was infested with fleas, mosquito and mice. My face and body is all bit up. Imloosing steam and nothing else seems to be available. Im at a lost... if I cant find a place I might loose custody. I dont understand why I have the bad luck I do. All I want to do is give my son and I a place to rest our head. UPDATE: I been recieving a lot of negativefeedback on Twitter and I suspect that that because many users on the Twitter platform does not know meas those on the Facebook platform. where I would like to address where I stand. I was told that if I need I should ask this is something new to me. In addition, I do not believe that hard working people should have their paychecks docked for mandatory welfare programs. I think if people want to donate to ever cause that is their choicebut it should be their choice not mandatory by the state. today Im also picking up some service industry applications, even though I do have a bachelors in marketing and am a proven marketer, when times get rough you have to do what you have to do. I have an interview today as well as going to an employment recruiting firmto see if they have anything in the data base. the help I need is to get into the homeand for me to try to get to my first paycheck.I just want to thank you all for your support I really do appreciate it.and hopefully for the Twitter followersin Twitter usersyou have a better idea who I am
