IT is absolutely clear that we are a polorised society.There are grouping in two school of thoughts.One is pro taliban and the other is pro anti terrorist forces.The starement of J.I created much furore but people some how or the other remained quiet and did not side with ISPR and JI did not apologise and did not even regret. This is the state of affairs.NOW out of blue came the High treason trial of General Musharraf.This should be judged in this back ground.No one would like to de rail democracy which is now most dear to politician and a catching slogan.BUT what about the denouncement of election results that democratic championsignored and east pak was seperated.Than it was not for the first time constitution was abrogated .GEneral Ayoub ,Yahya and Zia ul haq were the torch bearers.HAD there been some democracy lovers they must have indulged in some sort of condemnation and what to say of high treason.To day paper carries a report passing a resolution favoring the trial.Now the question arises weather the trial will be transparent and fair.All the officers of FIA and other govt agencies are political appointees.Even the appointment of NAB chairman takes months to safe the rulers.THE Asghar khan case remained undecided for decades.WHAT a justice.Different methods and quickness or vice verca on political grounds.one last word now even the courts says that Bhuttos was a judicious murder.ARE we once again heading and Punjab would be reponsible for the ill advised decision.
