ITC-steam u/p 2 para-pics. 300X and 150X and one real image. Man & dawg shows a white dog standing up on its hind-legs, centre frame, with its owner (?) facing the viewer behind it. Other faint faces NW and SE. I see an outline of a giant lizard in upper central frame, rather like a T-rex or a foreshortened crocodile. Perhaps a salties snack being remembered??? VIR dog is accompanied by a real photo as close to the para-pic as I could find. The small dog is white and in centre frame. Much harder to see is a faint outline of a Victorian woman in R profile filling L centre frame. She looks awfully similar to Queen Victoria, but at a rather younger age than the real photo I have posted shows. There are many photos to be found on Google images showing her with pet dogs, but of course photography was in its infancy when she first came to the throne, and the long exposure times needed to take a picture made pets very bad subjects since they rarely sat still. So although the persons image is far fainter than the dogs I think calling it VIR is not utterly out of the question - besides it makes it all the more interesting.
