ITS A BEAUTIFUL SUNDAY! This is dawn in Bandung. The sun had only start to rise, and its still cold outside. The Whiskers Syndicates mobsters havent even wake up yet, but here I am, writing with my heart in full bloom knowing that one more life is saved. Its only a few hours after I wrote about Chiko and her desperate plea and we have USD 260 ready for her. Isnt that great? You are all amazing, wonderful people and I am so grateful to have you by our side when we need it the most. For a moment, I was envious. If only people are half as responsive as now, The Whkiskers Syndicate will not be in peril every other day of the week. If only people will help us as readily as now, I would have been assure that the lives of 80 cats in my own sanctuary will not be compromised. But then I realize I am being stupid. I am an animal rescuer. It shouldnt matter where the animals are as long as they are saved. I am a woman of God, and so it doesnt matter where assurance will come from because I know that if He provides for Chiko through one hand, He will provide to my own feline refugees through the others. So with Chikos near future financially guaranteed, please allow one of our latest rescue, Dr. Who, to take the stage. Dr. Who is trying to raise $ 400 by Thanksgiving to ensure the livelihood of every paw and tails in the sanctuary. To help her get started, a donor is willing to match the next $100 toward the goal, so once we reach that point we will be boosted halfway toward the goal. $65 out of that 100 has been matched. She is only 8 weeks old, but she had taken the harsh world early on when someone abandon her to die in a derelict and desolate remains of a phone booth, alone, cold, and hungry.
