ITS A KEEPER!! Seldom, anymore, do I find anything I fall in love with and have to keep ..BUT.. at the Fox Valley Antique Show this last week I bought 2 things that had to go home with me!! A turn of the century folk painted Red- White- & Blue handmade basket...wonder why they painted it like this?? What was it used for?..Was it painted her a special occasion? Maybe a Parade?..a School play?...a political event? Dont we wish these antiques could talk!!! And the other is a tiny folkart watercolor painting of a bird that a dealer friend of mine found in an old leather book...It will be going to the frame shop soon!!
