ITS AMAZING WHAT AN EYE CAN DO! Growing up, there was a childs game called peek-a-boo I see you first. Like myself, I found it quite amusing that grow-ups would take the time to see me and play with me. Moreover, as I became older, hide-and-seek was another fun game, but only when I was found by the person who was it. This morning as I looked for guidance from the Lord, I learned that God instructs me, shows me the way to go, and gives me counsel with His eye. Huh? How can this be? You might be wondering what I was wondering. How can a God guide a person with His eye? On one hand, it is hard enough figuring out what His voice is saying. On the other hand, if the eye is silent and makes no noise, the only way I could receive guidance from Gods eye is to be looking directly at Him. I had it right when I was a little girl. I would look into my moms face, particularly her eyes, and immediately knew if she was proud of me or if I was in trouble; I normally didnt mistake her eyes. My moms eyes gave me counsel.
