ITS MY BIRTHDAY!!!! Yayayayayayaya!! I cannot believe that I am 28 years old. SHIT! Im definitely not where I thought I would be. You know when you are young, you have an idea of how life will go...how old you will be when you have babies, where you would have travelled, what you would have achieved. Well...by 28 I thought I would be settling down a little. Taking it slower. Financially secure. Maybe even pregnant. Instead, its the opposite. I am about to take off on another adventure to Europe- i have spent the last six months working full time and saving money (and having money- which has been amazing after being a poor musician for 10 years). I will be recording a new album in Holland. I will be appearing on German TV (more to come on that exciting news). I will be at my brothers weddings in croatia, celebrating the love they have found with my beautiful sisters in law to be. I will be touring around Europe. I will be doing what I love. I will be having adventures, having fun, being with friends, making the most of still being relatively young. I will be happy, like I always am. Highlights of the year gone by? -Playing for 7000 people at Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam supporting Josh Groban. -Working at my first full time job with some of the most AMAZING people who I absolutely love, paying off my debt and saving enough to record. -Meeting a very special Red headed man who makes me smile....alot. -Finally seeing my idol, Beyonce, live. -And maybe the biggest and best part...My best friend Julia Di Paolo welcoming her first beautiful boy into the world four days ago, Brock. So proud of her, so happy, so excited to meet him and also, really freaked out that she is now a mother when it literally feels like YESTERDAY that we were skulling Jim Beam at 17 and comparing our lists of boys we had kissed. So...to another year with my beautiful family, my incredible friends, the music that I love and the great times yet to be had- including tonight at my PAR-TAY. Im so proud of me. What a legend. hahahahaha. xxx
