Iam at the Tag Pamodzi hotel covering the colorful fundraising dinner dance for the construction of a Relatives Shelter at Mongu General Hospital organized by the ministers spouses club. The purpose of this event is to raise funds towards the same shelter complicated cases needing secondary level care are normally referred to mongu from all over the Western province. At present, many of the relatives who accompany patients are forced to sleep outside. The ministers spouses club is committed to working with the Ministry of health to ensure that mothers and relatives shelters are available in all provincial centers. They have nearly completed rehabilitation work in Chipata and have started on a project in Kasama. Mongu is thier largest project to date as they remain commited to construction of a new relatives shelter. Various stakeholders have turned up at this event to be graced by the guest of honour acting Ngambela Sisi with his entourage from the Barotse Royal Establishment (BRE), The goverment ministers, including education minister,Justice Minister, among others.Ministers spouses are also in attendence lead by thier leader Mrs Charlote Scot.
