Iam very disappointed with Luanshya Municipal Council. Some time this year, this council advertised the sale of residential plots to the public & were asking for K500 non refundable fees. I applied for a plot & paid the money. Through whatever means, the council denied me a chance to own land in a town where I grew up & call home. Today I went for a funeral at mikomfwa cemetery & whilst there,I was told the land the council had advertised had been given to a foreign investor. A huge piece of land which would have enabled me & many other young people to build homes for our children is instead given to a foreigner in the name investment. I would like the council in question to tell me y they stole from the poor residents of Lya by faking the sale of plots which they intended to sell to the owner of antelope milling? What is it that the poor should do to get a good life in this country of ours? God please save us from these evil leaders. Am so so pissed
