Icebox Canyon at Red Rock Canyon outside of Las Vegas. The temperature literally drops once you are in the Canyon which makes it much more enjoyable. This canyon was very active with tourists. It was on this trip I was blessed with my real hiking shoes and not tennis shoes. Tourists came without water, wearing flip flops and simply were not prepared. I can say this was an incredibly strenuous hike. It was very physical with a lot of big rocks, jagged terrain and massive boulders. I was not physically fit to be on this hike and if it wasnt for my partner I would not have made it up two rock facings. We did the buddy system to pull and push each other up and over the boulders. The end was so well worth it. Picture 3 is at the end. There was a water fall and a pool of water above me, and a pool of water below me. We saw a few accidents and saw blood as we were leaving because this trail was that physically extreme. There was a group of people repelling as well. Very enjoyable trip. There were many canyons to choose from at Red Rock to hike.
