Icy bridge blamed in I-75 crashes near Sidney SHELBY CO. --- (November 1, 2014) One person suffered a minor injury in two separate crashes on an icy Shelby County bridge Saturday morning. The crashes happened around 8:20 a.m. on Interstate 75 North, about two miles south of Sidney. A pickup truck went off the road and down an embankment. Another vehicle became stuck underneath a guardrail. One person was transported to the hospital with a minor injury, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol Piqua Post. The drivers in both vehicles lost control because of ice on the bridge, according to OSP.
