Id like everyone to have a listen to this. As you all know, I live in Galway. So living over here I know little bit about the Irish economy and how it affects your average Joe. You can go out any night of the week and Galway is bouncing. There are no empty shops on the high street and theres certainly no foodbanks. Now, thats not to say that Ireland does not have its own problems - of course it does. But here you have a point of view from another media source and not the Westminster News as youve all been getting force fed. Minimum wage is better here, and let me assure you that the benefits are better. Scotland will not be penalised by shops and banks and supermarkets - why on earth would they raise prices? They want to keep customers and not alienate them. I think the point Ive found interesting here is that theyve turned around and said without a doubt that Scotland has more than enough resources to thrive - of course it does! Scotland could be a wealthy thriving country and could be so much better if only youd take the leap. The media seems to report Ireland as a third world country. Have you been over here recently? Open your eyes. Look at what other countries are reporting, because as an outsider looking in I can assure you that your not getting the full story from your BBC or Sky News. And the papers? Well youve seen the comparison from the English to the Scottish versions of the print on social media. That should say enough.
