Ideology: a system of ideas based on a set of values and beliefs shared by a group of people. With this in mind, Naretha Pretorius stated in her recent talk: Values are supposed to do good, but good for who? If the values are doing good for only some people, then its not good values to have Do you / your organisation / your leaders have an ideology you / they practice by? What are the values based on? Who does it benefit? And, what good does it do? Considered values and guiding principles are the very essence of mindful, reflective and considered leadership. What are yours?
