#Ididntknowmyownstrength: beginning with my arrest on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at 8am to my release on Tuesday, September 16, 2014, I embarked on a journey. A journey, that I had no preparation for, however I did have stories that were shared with me. These stories did serve as guidepost, however that was about it. These stories were not my reality. I did not think, I was going to make it thru BUT yet I did. I had to make sense of the environment that God sent me to. I survived because GOD, saw me thru each step of the way, even when I thought the power had abandoned me, the power was there. There is someone, out there in #facebook land, who is experiencing a moment of weakness. Much like, I did. For these sheep, I give to you, Whitney Houstons soul stirring and strengthening song. God is all up and through this song. I give to you I Didnt Know My Own Strength. I too, didnt know my own strength. However, I found my strength in various moments, during my incarceration. Be not confused, I am still journeying, even in my post-release persona. I have this song and other tools to help me.
