If I could add up all of the hours that I have spent browsing over Facebook and other platforms of social media in the last few years, I think it would be a shocking realization. Looking back now, if I could have manifested those hours into something productive, I would have saved myself so much time spent on negative feelings and thoughts, such as envy, guilt, judgement, and general concern for things that shouldnt matter. I now see social media for what it really is and its negative impact on the minds if people who use it extensively. Its really sad to see that social media doesnt really promote any positivity and good morals, its only a distraction to take focus away from the truly important things in life. I think that I will be using Facebook a lot less.
