If I have ever given you the impression that I know what Im doing as a parent, please come over to my house right now. The nine year old girl is either 1) demon possessed, 2) going through all of puberty all at one time and RIGHT NOW, or 3) channeling the spirit of Carrie, and I HONESTLY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO MAKE IT STOP. My way of dealing with it was to throw a treat at her, run away, and Google how to be the parent of a pre-pubescent girl on the internet while drinking another (very late in the day but very necessary) calming cup of coffee. (i made sure the treat was paleo. at least thats something, right?)
