If a key LGA like Gwoza can be easily occupied and held hostage by a small number of insurgents under d watch of our FG, then am afraid we will lose Nigeria as d number of d insurgents and the strength of their arsenal expands and increases. Save we get rid of d mentality of what we were militarily and catch up with what we ought to be, our future as a sovereign nation is bleak. One wonders why and how do Nigerians manage to support a democracy that is so recklessly careless and in no way comparable to d achievements of the dictatorship days of d military governments. The roads, hospitals, schools etc provided by d military are far better in number and quality than what d politicians provided since 1999 to date, let alone d safety of lives and properties of d citizenry. Politicians tend to cater for and make life easy to areas liyal to dem and to places where they secured many votes to d detriment of those who chose to vote not for d winning party or those who constructively chose to criticize same. Care and sharing of d national cake base on religious and ethnic difference becomes d symbol of our politicians and d most annoying of all, we are d only nation witj d highest number of insensitive politicians who are suffering from abject poverty of knowing what to say and when to say it right. Let dis administration make use of d few days it has in store and make amend of d wrongs done to us over d years by all d politicians or atleast right its wrong and change our feelings from considering democracy as a curse but a blessing.
