If a person dies with his song in his heart, those whose lives were supposed to be touched by it will also be in jeopardy. God does not create failures, he wants everybody to be successful. Everybody has something to offer. What determines the usefulness of what one has to offer, is the ability to get it into the hands of those who need it. Not using our talents, allowing our talents to be buried and hidden, is wickedness. Consider the wicked servant parable where Jesus told of the servant who buried his talent. An anonymous person stated, The the richest place on earth is the graveyard. It is truly pathetic for more talents to die with people and be buried with them, than to be harnessed and utilized to the glory of God. The mechanism for putting what we have to offer into the hands of those who need it, is very important. It is called Advertising. Principles of biblical advertising: 1. You cannot offer what you dont have 2. The relevance of your product determines how marketable it is 3. Your patronage is often influenced by your location. You cannot get customers when you are in the wrong location for the product 4. Advertisement is the mother of profit: The bible says your mouth can advertise you for good or for bad 5. The quality of your supply determines your demand 6. Your stewardship is established by your faithfulness 7. Activity is not the same thing as productivity 8. Losses do not glorify God,only profits glorify him: When the shepherd lost the sheep, he rejoiced tremendously when he found it. 9. By divine arithmetic, starvation is equivalent to failure 10. He that is slothful or lazy in his work, is a brother to him who is a great waster. Let us not use our mouths to bury our potentials. It is also important to avoid places where our potentials are discouraged. We must not look at our perceived barriers. Age is no barrier to greatness. God can use anybody at any time. At the same time,it is important to be led by the holy spirit, praying fervently for diving connections and destiny helpers. Also, it is important to relate with successful people, asking for divine wisdom. Our prayers should be for divine exposure. We should also position ourselves where we are relevant. Why should we struggle to break into an over-saturated market? Why try to sell oranges in a city full of all kinds of oranges, and then struggle with low self esteem because nobody is buying the oranges from you. There are many people struggling in the Western World, all the way from other countries, who spend years and years, wasting away re-inventing themselves to make it there. Of course, it takes years to get the papers to stay there, years to get other things done to try and adjust, many bills to pay, the daily grind to do odd jobs to show something for the journey, etc. At the end of the day, not many are true to their calling, talents, and purpose in life. If success takes a while to come, as long as we are in the right location, even if in the Western World or anywhere else, if we are called to be there, as we work towards our specified goals, we will surely succeed.
