If a strategy includes finances, the US should be talking to the Saudis who are funding ISIS. Again, talk to the Saudis who funded the rebels (al Qaida) against President Bashar al-Assad , and would you, if you were al-Assad trust a US president and Congress which supplied war materials to your enemy in violation of their own Constitution and USC. The ISIS is killing Christians. All Muslims support any group that kills Christians and Jews. It is not the job of the United States to confront warring factions in the Middle East. Even though politicians and diplomats will say we have strategic interests, oil, in the Middle East, it is the job of the US to open up oil exploration and make the US non-dependent on foreign oil. In addition, it is the job of the US to defend the US. Middle Easterners should do their own fighting instead of fleeing the country to bordering nations. We need a military plan that secures our borders and defeats the ISIS when they arrive in the US. No American should be sent to war to defend against the ISIS in a war America cannot win, especially when our troops are not supported by a liberal Muslim president and a liberal Congress. Care packages are being sent to our troops in Afganistan because our government closed the Post Exchange where the troops could buy the necessities. Good luck John and Lindsey with your liberal Senate. If the Saudis cannot be convinced to stop financing terrorist groups, it is very unlikely Obama will adopt a strategy on ISIS to keep it from growing into a larger danger to the United States and to its allies.
