If anyone is considering becoming a member of the BVPS Committee, (which has been running for almost 40 years to protect Binfield and inform local residents of proposals that may affect them) please contact Laura Hogevold via private message. Binfield is currently under siege from development plans in every direction, many affecting greenfield sites and historic properties - and we would welcome some extra assistance - whether for a specific development that affects you directly, or to help ithe committee in general. We meet once a month and members can volunteer to undertake as much or as little work as they are able to. Specific skills that may be useful are planning/property development expertise, secretarial (minute taking, list management, organising events, etc), social media, marketing/PR and technology. This is a very friendly and approachable group which operates on a completely voluntary basis. Many thanks.
