“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. A song we used to sing in our Kids Praise days 3 decades ago which found in Mark 8:34. Today, the Lord is still reminding me to deny my self, take up my cross and follow Jesus. I reflected on few points. What it takes to deny ones self? It takes a decision. What it means to take up a cross? It means acceptance to whatever burdens we got. Following Jesus - He is the way, the truth and the life. Since Jesus is the truth, then we will be all be Free from the bondage of sin, we will have new ways, and feel the abundance of life. For Jesus said I have come that you might have life, more abundantly John 10:10. Lord may I realize always to deny my self and take whatever challenges in life, for I know you have great plans in me.
